ORCHHA

Orchha, situated in the region of Bundelkhand in Madhya Pradesh. It is around 12 km away from Jhansi. It has a vast temple of Lord Rama established. It is the only temple in India where Lord Shri Ram is worshiped as a king. Another special feature of this temple is that salute is given to Lord Shri Ram here.

GARHMAU LAKE

Garhmau Lake is situated near Jhansi in state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a vivid waterbody which is known for flora and natural beauty. It is a tourist site in located about 2km outside Jhansi. It is spread over a vast area of 14 km. It has spectacle view of sunrise and sunset which is a popular Jhansi attraction.

Barua Sagar Dam is situated in Barua Sagar near Jhansi in state of Uttar Pradesh. It is famous as a picnicking spot for visitors. It makes visitors to feel connected with the nature.

BARUA SAGAR FORT

Barua sagar fort is located in Talarmanna, Uttar Pradesh. It is 20.5 km far from Jhansi. It was built in the early 17th century by the king of Orchha Udit Singh. In 1744, battle between the Marathas and the Bundelas was held in Barua Sagar fort.

CHATURBHUJ TEMPLE

Chaturbhuj temple is situated at Orchha in Madhya Pradesh, India. This temple is dedicated to Rama avatar of Lord Vishnu as the names suggests 'chatur' meaning "four" and 'bhuj' meaning "arms". It was constructed in the 18th century.

Taragram is a Non-governmental organization in Pratap Pura, Madhya Pradesh. TARA stands for "Technology and Action for Rural Advancement", and "Gram" in Hindi means village. It is an organization which makes paper and promotes plastic free and eco-friendly earth. Visitors can visit here to see the process of paper formation.

SUKMA DUKMA DAM

Sukma Dukma Dam is situated in Babina, Uttar Pradesh which is far from 40 km Jhansi. It is constructed across the Betwa river in 1906 to serve the irrigation and drinking purposes of the water in Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh. It is a British era dam and is 800 meters in length. It is one of the best places to visit in rainy season.
