Tour Plan
- On arrival at the Kozhikode railway station\/ airport, travel to Wayanad and reach Petals Resort
- Check-in is followed by a hike up to the Chembra Peak, the highest summit in Wayanad. The greenery around is a visual treat and you can also visit the heart-shaped lake on your way.
- Overnight stay at hotel.(Dinner)
- After breakfast, set off for a visit to Pookode Lake, a stunning freshwater lake in Wayanad. You can go for an enchanting boat ride in the tranquil lake enjoying the green environment and fresh air. The next destination in line is the Soojipara waterfalls \u2013 this three-tiered waterfall is also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls.
- Now it\u2019s time to visit the second largest earth dam in Asia, the Banasura Sagar dam. The green environs of the dam site are a great picnic spot. You can then continue your sightseeing to the 7000-year-old Edakkal Caves, known to be one of the earliest centers of human habitation.
- Continue exploring Wayanad by visiting Pakshipathalam bird sanctuary and Meenmutty waterfalls- a three-tiered waterfall falling from a height of 300 m. Then it is back to the resort.
- After an early Breakfast we will checkout from the resort.
- On your way back to the airport \/ Railway Station you can make a stopover at Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary to see the Elephants in their natural habitat.
